BJJ and Strength Training


BJJ – 90 minutes

Drills and conditioning, followed by working on different ways to maintain side control. Submission of the night was the Rickson Armbar.

Ended the night with two 5 minutes rounds of rolling with our blue belts.


Had absolutely no interest in strength training today but made myself you out to the Garage and get some work in.
Week 2 Day 2

OH Press
75 x 5
75 x 5
85 x 5
95 x 5
all were pretty easy here, nothing much to say

Sumo Deadlift
160 x 5
205 x 5
225 x 5
265 x 5
harder than it should be but still not too tough.

Tonight I have 2 hrs on no-gi BJJ at a 10th Planet affiliate
